With all the cold and ice and snow as we head into winter I thought a picture of a a bumble bee on my butterfly bush might brighten things up a bit.

It's beginning to look a lot like Winter Holiday, or whatever that song says. The problem is that this is a photo of our White Thanksgiving which, even here in Pennsylvania, is a fairly rare event.  

In honor of the opening of the Chronicles of Narnia film, here is a photo of my own little corner of Lantern Waste.

This was taken during our second snowfall of the season on the night of December 1 with my new toy - a Dynax/Maxxum 5D DSLR from Konica Minolta.
