Schuylkill Canal Trail in Hamburg offers only limited views of the river in summer due to the dense tree cover on the bank and overhead, but it does offer a shady walkway for warm weather exercise without much danger of sunstroke. Here is a small patch of the river reflecting the afternoon sun set off by what I think is the lovely but lethal Cardinal Flower - Lobelia cardinalis.
