Great Egret - Ardea alba - part of a flock I found on the 6th of August at Tilden Industrial Park. All my other sightings of this species have been single individuals or, rarely, pairs. On this day, I counted nine of them and a few days later I met a serious birdwatcher who had seen twelve at this spot.
