Traffic jam in Hamburg - a frequent sight since 2005 when the I-78 reconstruction project from PA Route 61 to Monument Rd. started. This two block backup on State St. should be a thing of the past now that the project is complete. Except for the occasional road closures for parades, snow or accidents, traffic should be normal in and around Hamburg until sometime in 2009 when the State St. Bridge over the Schuylkill River is scheduled to be rebuilt.
