Kitten in clover - I think I'll have to give this one a name, It is so cute and it is a regular customer at the dinner plate outside my door. Furball seems to suit. I think the mother is the short-haired calico you sometimes see on these pages, so the long coat is probably a rare expression of a recessive gene. On the other hand, I have been told that there are some long-hairs over at the next farm, between us and the mountain.
