Clearwing Sphinx Moth - they often flit and hover like hummingbirds and their coloring and size resemble bumblebees, but they are among the more common day flying moths in the Blue Mountain Wildlife, Inc. butterfly garden at the Kernsville Dam. I had the pleasure of meeting a nice couple from the Philly suburbs there this morning. Things are just getting interesting this time of year, August and September are better.
